These terms govern your use of Check My Website at check-my.website(the “Service”), operated by Magicowls Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17182683). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

The Service

Check My Website runs automated checks against a website you specify and produces a report covering areas such as SEO, performance, mobile, accessibility, security, privacy and more. The results are automated and informational only. They are a starting point for review and are not professional, legal or compliance advice, and we do not guarantee that they are complete, accurate or error-free.

Acceptable use

• Only audit websites that you own or that you are authorised to test. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to run an audit against a given site.
• Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to infringe others’ rights.
• Do not attempt to overload, disrupt, reverse-engineer or circumvent the Service, or use it to attack or gain unauthorised access to any system.
• Do not submit URLs containing malware, illegal content, or others’ private data.

Reports

Reports are provided “as is” and are stored at a unique link that anyone with the link can access. You are responsible for how you share report links.

Intellectual property

The Service, its software, branding and report formats are owned by Magicowls Ltd. You may use the reports generated for your own websites and clients; you may not resell or redistribute the Service itself without our permission.

No warranty

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that audit findings are exhaustive.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Magicowls Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on audit results or any action taken (or not taken) on the basis of them. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes

We may update the Service and these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
